Meet Our Loan Officers
Kurt Alberts
Owner/Chief Mortgage Product Specialist
Kurt is the founder of KASH Mortgage Group, he holds a Bachelors Degree in economics from The University Of Pittsburgh.
​
He has also obtained multiple federal and state licenses and certifications, continuous education services and is a federal and state compliance officer.
​
Kurt has over 20 years of mortgage product and services with many lenders, financial institutions, national and local banks.

Alie Bard
Senior Loan Officer
Alie has been with us since May 2017. She was born and rised in rural Erie County and lives in Albion, PA with her husband her her three daughters.
​
She brings with her over 9 years of mortgage experience and has fluent knowledge of FHA, USDA, VA, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac guidelines.
​
Alie obtained her associates degree from Gannon University.

Jacob Timko
Loan Officer
Jacob has a passion for helping people reach their goals by educating and giving them the smoothest experience possible. He earned his Bachelor's of Science in Business from Pennsylvania State University.

Jacob currently lives in the Alle-Kiski Valley with his wife, Serena, and his two young children. He enjoys visiting various outdoor recreational parks with his family and watching sports on the weekends.
Bill Varley
Senior Loan Officer
Bill has been with us since February 2018. He brings with him over 26 years of expereince in the residential and commercial mortgage industry. He has previous expereince with First National Bank, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and Howard Hanna Mortgage.

Bill obtained his Bachelors Degree from Marietta College and his MBA from Cleveland State University.

Bill was raised in the Pittsburgh area and he, his wife, and his three children live in South Fayette Township.

Frank Essek
Senior Loan Officer
Frank has been with us since April 2022. He has over 30 years of experience in the mortgage industry including 20 years as the owner of Essek Mortgage.
Frank received this Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Gannon College.
Frank was born and raised in Ambridge Pa, is the father of 4 children and he and his wife Susan reside in Cranberry Twp Pa.
Laurie Snell
Loan Officer
Laurie Snell is a driven and dynamic professional with a passion for helping others succeed. She’s worn many hats — entrepreneur, philanthropist, senior financial aid officer, mortgage expert, realtor, and director of operations for a national nonprofit — bringing energy, empathy, and excellence to everything she does.
Laurie has built businesses from the ground up, guided families through financial and housing challenges, and led nonprofit teams with heart and strategy. Her career is fueled by a love for connection, community, and making a real impact.
Outside of work, Laurie is a devoted mom, a fitness enthusiast, and a firm believer in finding joy wherever she can — whether that’s singing karaoke, dancing for fun, or cheering on her kids
Emilee Myers

With a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and a passion for helping people reach their homeownership goals, I’m proud to serve clients as a Mortgage Loan Officer at Landmark Mortgage Group. I work closely with each borrower to make the loan process smooth, transparent, and tailored to their unique needs.
When I’m not helping clients, I love spending time outdoors with my kids and caring for my horses—there’s nothing better than a day in the sunshine with family and animals.
Jeff Karman
Loan Officer
Jeff joined Kash Mortgage Group in 2026, bringing a client-first philosophy to the team as a Mortgage Loan Originator. He looks to ease the complexities of the mortgage process, particularly for those navigating the home-buying journey for the first time. He aims to provide insights into the nuances of the mortgage process that first-time buyers might not otherwise consider.
Originally from the South Hills, Jeff is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), and now resides in Allison Park, PA, with his wife (Peggy). He is the father of 3 adult children.
Over the years, he has served as a youth coach and board member for his children’s various activities. His dedication to giving back extends to several other organizations, including the Allegheny County Special Olympics and the United Way.
When he isn’t helping clients secure their dream homes, Jeff stays busy with a variety of personal interests, which include traveling, cooking and listening to live music. He also enjoys working on projects around the house.
Maria Ortiz
Loan Officer
Maria was born in Los Angeles, California and is of Mexican-American decent. Maria is Bi-lingual in Spanish and English. A veteran of the real estate industry for over 23 years, Maria is a realtor with Howard Hanna and an Underwriter for First American Title Insurance Company. Becoming a Loan Officer in 2024, Maria got her license in order to help her clients from start to finish.
Her vibrant attitude and outgoing personality serve her and her clients well. Knowledge and professionalism are the key to Maria success."
Andrew Beneigh
Loan Officer
Andrew joined Kash Mortgage Group as a Loan Officer in 2024. Andrew is an entrepreneur. The owner of many small businesses, Beneigh Insurance Group, Custom Community Management and the former Oak & Prime Mortgage. Andrew always wanted to be a one stop shop for home buyers. Insurance first in 2006 and mortgage finance in 2017.
Providing the best service and highly competitive products allows Andrew to build his businesses.Andrew lives in Zelienople with his wife and family. Andrew is a big time Pittsburgh sports fan as well as an active community member.
Serena Timko
Loan Officer
Serena communicates well and enjoys educating her consumers. Serena and her husband, Jacob, are both mortgage loan originators and team together to make loans super easy and fast for the buyer. She got her bachelor's degree at Penn State.

Serena lives in North Huntingdon with her husband and two children. She enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, running, and reading.

Scott Pieto
Marketing and Sales Director
Scott came back to work at Kash Mortgage Group in 2014. Scott's mortgage career began all the way back in 1998. After 17 years as a Loan Officer and Manager, Scott began his role as Marketing Director at Kash in order to help grow the business.
Kash Mortgage has grown year after year since his return. Scott was pivotal to our entrance into markets like Meadville, Erie, Kittanning, Indiana and created new branding efforts like Landmark Mortgage Group which is a subsidiary of Kash Mortgage Group. Scott has taken on the role of Sales Director as well and has been hiring new loan officers to strengthen the future of Kash Mortgage Group. Scott was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA.
He lives with his wife and his four children in Cranberry Township, PA. He is a youth coach and volunteer in his community, church, and school. He is a graduate of Robert Morris University.
Cody has been with us since September 2016. He brings with us invaluable experience. He has attained his Bachelors Degree from Robert Morris University. Cody is enjoying the challenges and rewards of his career as a loan processor with KASH Mortgage Group and he serves as not only a loan processor but a liaison for our clients when they have questions or concerns.

Cody grew up in Shaler Township, PA and he currently resides in Shaler with his wife, young son and daughter.

In his free time Cody enjoys spending time with his family and friends as well as being outdoors, gardening, Penguins hockey, and cooking.

Sarah has been with us since September 2017. She holds a bachelors degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Information Technology and Systems Security.

Sarah grew up in McCandless, PA and currently resides in Allison Park, PA with her husband and her two children. When Sarah isn't helping borrowers reach their ultimate home ownership goals she be found reading a good book, traveling, or catching up with her family and friends.
Alison Alberts
Human Resources Manager
Alison has been with KASH since 2004. She helps our all of our employees and makes sure to keep everything in check. She is a valued asset to our team and helps keep our day to day running smoothly.

When Alison isn't busy running point in our office, she is busy being a mom to two wonderful boys.
​
Alison lives in Pine Richland with her husband and her two sons.
Business Developement Manager (PA & FL)
Larry has been with us since August of 2024. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, but residing in Tampa, Florida for the past 5 years, he plays a big role in helping lead and grow our Florida market.

With a portfolio of investments himself, he has a deep understanding of the Florida market. Committed to excellence both professionally and personally, he believes in building lasting relationships rooted in trust, transparency, and a true love for the community.

Outside of work, Larry loves spending time with his wife Bryana, daughter Rylee, and goldendoodle Cooper.
